Last day at Home of Affection.
The kids here at Home of Affection are just great. I really hope that they all get an opportunity to get some vocational training or even be able to go to college and university. I hope to be kept up-to-date with what happens here.

Last day at Home of Affection.
The door to the new computer room was locked so I had to take a photo through the window. The Youth Tour teenagers have been busy painting this room. The fundraised money paid for a computer and internet connection. This is great for the kids here to learn some computing and keyboarding skills which could help them get a job in the future as well as improve their english skills.
Mr Viet is also very keen on the kids being able to keep in contact with volunteers which is great.
Thankyou.
The children at the Baby Orphanage would like to say thankyou to everyone who has kindly donated money. The variety of things that have been bought for the Baby Orphanage will be of great use. Things that have been bought for the Baby Orphanage.

1st letter
Dear teacher Mhairi
My name is Duyen. I am your student. You are not only my teacher but my mother. I was taught by you long enough to get to know you but now you have to leave for home. I don't have anything more to say but many thanks. I think that other students like me don't want you to go home and won't teach us anymore but it is so selfish of me. I know that you have to go home but I dont't want you to. When you go home please think of us. We will miss you a lot. If you have time we would love to hear from you and hopefully next year you can come back to teach us and come back to Tam Thanh with us. We will wait for you to come back. Goodbye Mhairi. Your student. Duyen

Last day at Tam Thanh.
It was my last day at Tam Thanh. I took my class and Leigh's class (she was getting new computers set up - one of which we paid for) to the beach which is very near Tam Thanh classroom. We played some games and then it was time to come back and say goodbye. I found this difficult as this was my favourite placement. I gave each of the girls a little gift from me and I received some hair baubles and some lovely letters which Ly Chau translated to me later.
