volunteers and interpreters.
Last night at GVN house.
Last day at Home of Affection.
The kids here at Home of Affection are just great. I really hope that they all get an opportunity to get some vocational training or even be able to go to college and university. I hope to be kept up-to-date with what happens here.
Fundraised money got spent here and I know that the kids here were really grateful and thankful. Computer, internet connection, pingpong table, basketball hoop, fixing two swing chairs and paint, fix toilets in bathroom, install two lights, move lights where basketball hoop is, books for all kids here (a lot of them chose dictionaries, non fiction books on interests such as computers)feast for month of August and fruit for month of August, mirrors for rooms and bathrooms, wall clocks for all rooms, high school uniforms, stationary for school, textbooks, education for five children in kindergarten (special needs).
Disabled hospital - milk for a month.
Tam Thanh - fruit for July.
Last day at Home of Affection.
The door to the new computer room was locked so I had to take a photo through the window. The Youth Tour teenagers have been busy painting this room. The fundraised money paid for a computer and internet connection. This is great for the kids here to learn some computing and keyboarding skills which could help them get a job in the future as well as improve their english skills.
Mr Viet is also very keen on the kids being able to keep in contact with volunteers which is great.
